Having studied and worked in the field of psychotherapy for 30 years, one thing I have discovered is how unique each
individual is. So when a person comes to counseling I have no preconceived notions of what the work will look like.
When I create a safe, encouraging environment for someone to communicate their present experience, the process that
develops leads to an awareness of self. The process often involves first recognizing past wounds in the present experience.
The space is then created to courageously feel that experience. Once that is made conscious to the body and
mind, we are able to make fearless choices in the present.
